Questions About Running with Us?
Get answers about our Couch-to-5K programs, half-marathon training clubs, Parkrun meetups, and group running sessions for adults 40 and beyond.
Not at all! Our 9-week Couch-to-5K program is designed specifically for people who are new to running or returning after time away. We start with walk-run intervals and gradually build your endurance so you're running a full 5K by week 9. Most of our participants have been sedentary or haven't run in years.
Parkrun is a free, weekly 5K run held in local parks every Saturday morning—it's casual and social. Our training clubs (like our Half-Marathon Preparation Club) are structured 12-week programs with personalized training plans, pacing guidance, and specific race preparation. We often organize group meetups at Parkruns to build community, but our clubs are more goal-focused.
Our Half-Marathon Preparation Club runs for 12 weeks and is designed for runners who've already completed a 5K and have some base fitness. You'll work on long-run strategies, pacing, cross-training, and nutrition planning with weekly group support sessions to keep you motivated.
Yes—our trainers work with runners at all levels within the same session. We modify intensity and recovery times so you can push yourself appropriately. Whether you're building speed after Couch-to-5K or training for a marathon, there's a progression path for you.
We run programs and organize Parkrun meetups across multiple states and regions. Since new sessions are announced regularly, the best way to find opportunities near you is to check our announcements page or reach out to us directly—we can connect you with groups in your area.
Injury prevention is built into all our programs through proper form guidance and progressive training. If you do get hurt, we recommend pausing your program and consulting a healthcare provider or sports medicine specialist. Many runners take a modified approach—our trainers can suggest cross-training alternatives while you recover.
